Norwich City striker Nelson Oliveira is using the international break to get back to full fitness, according to The Fakenham and Wells Times.
After suffering a foot injury, Nelson Oliveira missed six games before making his return as a substitute in last weekend’s 2-0 win over Barnsley.
Oliveira knows that he will still need to regain full fitness and acknowledged that he was not at his peak, despite training for the past four or five weeks.
This is because he has not played a lot of first team football since getting his foot injury.
The Portuguese forward had hit 19 goals in 22 games for the Canaries, with a further three coming in his two outings for the Norwich under 23 team in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Oliveira hopes that he can use the international break to complete his comeback to full fitness ahead of a potential play-off push.
The Canaries sit five points adrift of the top six with eight games left to play.
