Norwich City are refusing to give up in their pursuit of Hull City winger Robbie Brady after reports surfaced this morning that the Canaries had made a fourth bid according to Sky Sources, reports EDP24.

The Canaries have already had three bids rejected for the Republic of Ireland International with the highest being at £3million.

Reports this week from Ireland have stated the Norwich are prepared to sanction a £5million bid for Brady, although both Norwich and Hull have not commented on this latest bid and its amount.

Steve Bruce had openly criticised Norwich over the previous bids received.

"We paid £2.75m for Robbie and that was three years ago,” said Bruce to the Hull Daily Mail on Wednesday. “Norwich have come in with bids for Robbie Brady but I have to say they’ve been embarrassing. The supporters should know the truth and Norwich came in two weeks ago with a bid of £2m, £2.5m and then £3m.

“That’s ridiculous for someone who is 23, has played two years in the Premier League and has become a regular international. When we’ve just got almost twice that for Tom Ince (who joined Derby for £5m). It doesn’t make sense. This can unsettle players, do this, that or the other, and it’s all part of the game. But Robbie Brady will not be going for anywhere near that.”

Brady is out-of-contract at the KC Stadium next summer and Bruce wants to tie down some of his key players to longer deals so he can try and gain an instant return to the top flight after last season's relegation on the final day.
