Norwich City linked with summer move for Premier League midfielder

Talented Spurs youngster Alex Pritchard is being linked with a potential move to Sky Bet Championship side Norwich City, according to Vital Norwich City.

Many expected the 23-year-old to break into the Spurs first team after an outstanding campaign with Brentford back in the 2014/15 campaign, but the likes of Tom Carroll and Ryan Mason were preferred by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Pritchard was sent out on loan to West Brom, but he didn’t start a game, and made just three appearances, all off the bench, and after seeing him come on against Reading FC in West Brom’s 3-1 FA Cup defeat, he looked like a man devoid of confidence.

The asking price is currently set around the £8 million mark, and Norwich are said to be in the market for the youngster, but only if Spurs reduce their demands.

A step down to Championship looks like the best option for Pritchard at the moment, and will certainly help both him and Norwich secure a return to the Premier League as soon as possible.
