Premier League side Norwich City have entered the bidding war for Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio, a club insider from Nottingham Forest has informed Football League World.
The former Reading winger had a stunning season with Forest last year after joining from Sheffield Wednesday for £1.5 million, managing 14 goals and 12 assists in 46 Championship games, and he won player of the season at the City Ground.
West Bromwich Albion have already had a number of bids rejected for the 25-year-old, the highest totalling £5 million, and have moved on to other targets.
FLW have been informed from a club insider at Forest that Alex Neil’s Norwich City are now interested in taking him on following there promotion to the Premier League, and will be hoping to use his pace and attacking prowess to fire them to safety.
Antonio is an excellent player and looks like he’s continuing from where he left off last season, so Forest boss Dougie Freedman will be desperate to keep the talented winger at the City Ground this season,
