Norwich City forward set for shock move back north of the border

Norwich City could be set to send striker Steven Naismith out on loan, with Kilmarnock waiting in the wings to snap up the Scot.

According to a report by the Eastern Daily Press, the former Rangers and Everton man could be set for a move back to his homeland as he struggles to make an impact with the Canaries, something which has been a theme of his stint with the club since signing two seasons back.

The report claims that Naismith could be set to move as he looks to get some minutes under his belt and get some first team football ahead of the summer, where he will no doubt be looking for a permanent move as he looks to get his career back on track.

Naismith has 45 caps for his country and began his career with Kilmarnock in the first place, and now at 31, he could welcome the move back to the club where it all began.

The little forward joined Norwich in a £7m deal from Everto and was expected to fire them back to the Premier League, but his form has dipped since the move and he could now be on his way out of East Anglia.

Norwich fans, what do you think to this? Good move for Naismith? Let us know in the comments!
