Sam Wood, a Norwich City fan will travel 9,000 miles to watch his side in their play-off semi final derby against Ipswich Town on Saturday.
He will travel all the way from Australia to Carrow Road for the second leg of the Championship play-off semi final.
Wood promised his friends that he’d jet back to England if his beloved team were involved in the play-offs and stuck to his promise.
He has his return flight booked in for the day after the Championship play-off final, providing that Alex Neil’s side beat their local rivals this weekend and could enjoy a day-out at Wembley.
And on his journey he will stop over at numerous destinations, already confirming that Doha is one of them.
Norwich have tweeted a good luck message to Sam on his long trip across the globe.
