Norwich City are prepared to enter battle with Derby County and Sheffield United during the summer to attempt to prise Ollie Watkins away from Exeter City.

According to The Sun, Watkins is a wanted man and the Canaries are the latest club to express an interest in the highly-rated 21-year-old, who is impressing in League Two for the Grecians.

Exeter’s divisional rivals Mansfield Town had a club record transfer fee rejected for Watkins during the January transfer window and it is looking unlikely that the club will sell to a team in the same division.

Norwich are hoping to make some changes to their squad during the summer with their inconsistent form in the Championship likely to rule out their promotion chances this term.

The Canaries value the forward at around £2 million and they are looking to throw their hat into the ring for a summer move for the player.

Norwich City fans, would you welcome Ollie Watkins to Carrow Road? Is he the sort of player that the Canaries should be pursuing? Let us know in the comments below!!!
