Championship rivals Derby County, Nottingham Forest and Norwich City are all reportedly 'keeping tabs' on Leeds boss Garry Monk, according to the Daily Star.

The second tier trio - all of whom are below Leeds in the table - are unconvinced at the club's ability to keep him, with Monk's deal only running until the end of the season with the option of a second year.

Rangers have already been linked with a move with the man leading Leeds to the play-offs, but talk of that move has been quashed.

However, should a development occur in which Monk leaves the Elland Road side, Forest, Derby and Norwich are ready to pounce on his services having shown to be an extremely competent Championship manager.

Derby changed their manager earlier in the season, ditching Nigel Pearson in favour of a return for Steve McClaren, although, despite an initial upturn in results, will see his position questioned as the Rams' form has taken a dive.

Forest sacked Philippe Montanier in November and have appointed Gary Brazil until the end of the season, and, depending on Brazil's performance, will likely need to appoint a new manager in the summer.

Norwich were expected to be up for automatic promotion, but have found themselves a fair distance away from play-off contention.
