Norwich City manager Daniel Farke has confirmed that midfielder Tom Trybull is a doubt for tomorrow's Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday.

The 26-year-old has picked up a knock on his knee and Farke will make a late decision as to whether the player will be involved against the Owls.

Norwich could be promoted to the Premier League tomorrow, if they win at Carrow Road and third-placed Sheffield United lost at home to Nottingham Forest earlier in the day.

Farke was speaking at his press conference ahead of the game and revealed that Trybull is the Canaries' only injury doubt for the clash with the Owls.

Norwich are currently top of the Championship table, four points ahead of second-placed Leeds United and seven clear of Sheffield United in third.

The Canaries have drawn their last two matches against Reading and Wigan Athletic, but are still unbeaten in their last ten games.

Trybull has been an important player for Norwich this season, making 34 appearances for the Canaries in all competitions, scoring two goals.

The Verdict:

Trybull has been an influential player this season and has started the last 15 matches in the Championship.

It remains to be seen whether he will be fit enough to be involved tomorrow, but he could be a big miss for the team if he is sidelined.

It is good news for Norwich fans that he is the only injury doubt for the game though, ahead of what could be a season-defining weekend for the club.
