Newly promoted Premier League side Norwich City and Championship side Hull City are set to compete for Charlton Athletic midfielder Jordan Cousins, according to South London today.
The Addicks academy product looks like a fantastic prospect and has previously been tracked by Arsenal.
Cousins is a very versatile midfielder, and can play down the middle, on the left and in either full-back position.
The midfielder’s being chased by other Premier League sides such as Newcastle United and Aston Villa, who are tracking the youngster as part of their overhaul’s this summer.
Charlton have already lost one of their young stars this summer after Liverpool signed 18-year-old centre back Joe Gomez for £7 million, after he stunned fans with his brilliant debut campaign.
Guy Luzon’s side are one of the favourites for relegation from the Sky Bet Championship this year, so they’ll be keen to hold on to some of their most valued players, who has played such a key role in their past two seasons.
Charlton Athletic fans…… What do you make of this news? Would you be gutted to see Jordan Cousins leave the club this summer? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below!
