Norwich City agree £2 million fee for Championship midfielder

Norwich City have made a £2 million bid for Reading’s 21-year-old dynamic midfielder Aaron Tshibola, according to the Mirror.

The youngster broke onto the scene at the beginning of last season with Reading, making 16 appearances in all competitions, and gained admirers with some outstanding performances.

He started the season as a key cog in Steve Clarke’s system, filling either the central midfield or holding midfield position, and it was no coincidence that the downturn in form that led to Clarke’s dismissal came after Tshibola picked up a lengthy injury.

Should the deal go through, it will be a huge loss for Reading, who will be losing one of the most talented young midfielders in the Championship, but the pull of joining a Premier League yo-yo club such as Norwich could prove too strong.

Norwich will be getting an outstanding talent should they land the youngster, and if they cut out his injury problems, they could be acquiring one of England’s next great midfielders.

Norwich City fans….. How much do you know about Tshibola? Is he the type of player you need? Let us know below!
