Norwich City striker Jordan Rhodes has admitted that the Canaries dressing room is one of the best he has ever been involved in.

The Sheffield Wednesday loanee netted a brace against Aston Villa on Tuesday night as Daniel Farke's men claimed their seventh win of the campaign.

And, after taking his tally up to seven goals in all competitions, the 28-year-old has admitted that he hasn't remembered a "relationship being as strong" anywhere else in his playing career.

"It’s a special place and I’m really enjoying every minute of it," Rhodes told Norwich's official media.

"It has a real community feel about it, it’s a close-knit relationship between the players, staff and everyone working for Norwich City, and everyone supporting it - there’s a real rapport between the two.

"I can’t really remember too many times in my recent clubs, that relationship being as strong."

Tuesday night's result leaves Norwich sitting fourth in the table after 14 league games, as they prepare to host Brentford at the weekend.

The Verdict

It's good to see Rhodes get his goalscoring mojo back - he's endured a couple of difficult years at both Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough, however, on his day he is one of the best goalscorers in the division.

If he can keep this level of form up, Norwich will only get stronger.
