Norwich City forward Josh Murphy has revealed that the squad is "buzzing" after winning three of their last four matches, the club's official website is reporting.

Josh Murphy believes that the squad is unified and everything is starting to click now after a mixed start to the campaign.

After losing to Millwall, Norwich City have managed three wins and a draw in their last four games to propel themselves up the table into 12th position.

However, Murphy is not concerned as he knew that it was only a matter of time before new manager Daniel Farke started to show his managerial prowess.

Murphy told Friday's press conference:

“We always knew it would take a bit of time but that once it clicked we’d be fine.

“And you can see that with the run we’re on everyone’s playing well and everyone who comes into the team are all raring to go.

"Everyone’s really hungry to succeed.

“It was a big change at the Club and it took a bit of time to get used to it, but everyone is like a big family now.

"It’s a really good environment and everyone is buzzing.

"It takes just one win to change everything and we got that, and we’ve been really good in the last few games."

Murphy also seemed to imply that Norwich would be challenging at the top of the league come the end of the season.

The former England youth international said:

“We don’t look like a team which is going to concede goals at the moment.

"You say attack wins games, but the defence wins leagues – and we’ve got that balance right.

"We’re strong at the back and that gives us licence to get forward.”

The Verdict

Norwich are starting to look like a very strong team after taking a while to click.

If they can keep this up and earn a victory over Bristol City today, then they will continue their ascent towards the play-off spots.

There is no reason why Josh Murphy and Norwich should not be aiming high.
