Northampton Town boss still waiting to hear offers for transfer listed duo

Northampton Town manager Chris Wilder has told the Northampton Chronicle that he hasn’t received any enquiries regarding midfielders John-Joe O’Toole and Chris Hackett.
Wilder placed the pair on the transfer list as he prepares his squad for next season.
O’Toole still has two years on his current contract, whilst Hackett has one year.
The manager also admitted there had been interested just a few weeks ago.
“If they don’t go then they will be back with us, but they both know they are not going to play regularly, so to get their careers up and running they need to sort themselves out, and their agents do too” Wilder told the Northampton Chronicle.
If either of them stay, then there is a strong possibility that neither will play on a first team basis, so a permanent move away from Sixfields would be the best option for both parties.
