‘No way’ – Many Huddersfield Town fans in agreement on Steve Mounie

Steve Mounie has not been a regular starter for Huddersfield Town this season.

Danny Cowley has often opted to utilise Karlan Grant as the Terriers’ main striker this season, thus suggesting that Mounie may not be a part of the manager’s plans for next season.

The Benin-born forward has done relatively well in terms of his goalscoring output this season though, scoring eight league goals in 23 appearances in the Championship.

His goals have helped keep the Terriers above the relegation zone as they sit in 18th spot in the league table, with them only three points clear of safety mind.

At the age of 25, Mounie may be keen to seek pastures new this summer in attempt to play football at a higher level than the Championship, or potentially League One if the Yorkshire club were relegated.

The striker has been at the centre of a debate initiated by Twitter account Terriers HQ which asked this question: ‘Do you think we should look to move on Steve Mounie this summer?’
