The frustrating season for Middlesbrough continued this weekend as they lost to Cardiff City yesterday at the Riverside Stadium.

Things under Garry Monk haven't gone as well as they perhaps could and should have so far this season and he'll certainly be feeling as though he needs to get some more wins on the board sooner rather than later. Cardiff are a good side, of course, but Boro have an excellent squad and if things do not improve in the coming games, fans might just start getting restless.

Certainly, the club cannot afford to lose much more ground in the title race than they have so far and their trip to Reading next weekend now looks a must-win. Whilst we wait for that, though, Boro have posted a link to highlights from the game on their Twitter account:
