A report has emerged claiming that PSG owners Qatar Sports Investment (QSI) are close to agreeing a £120 million takeover deal at Leeds United, which seems to have frustrated many fans of the Yorkshire club.

QSI have been linked with Leeds for the majority of the season but things have been quiet over the potential takeover in the last few months.

90min has reported a fresh update on the ongoing saga and claimed that QSI chief Nasser al-Khelaifi will prioritise a deal with the Whites in the near future as the Qatari outfit look to expand their portfolio into England.

It is understood that QSI are focussing on Leeds, despite having the option to secure a deal for multiple Premier League clubs.

The report suggests that talks are ongoing between Al-Khelaifi and Andrea Radrizzani and that a deal worth around £120 million is close.

Leeds are top of the Championship as things stand and look set to return to the Premier League this season, though their promotion push has been put on hold by the delay to the EFL season.
