After reaching the play-off final under Frank Lampard last season, Derby County would have been hoping to challenge for a top-six finish in the Championship this term.

However, it's fair to say that things haven't worked out like that so far. The Rams ensured a frustrating first half of the current campaign under new manager under Phillip Cocu and struggled for consistency.

Derby are currently 17th in the Championship table - eight points outside the play-off places - although results have improved over the past few matches and there's still plenty of time for the team to get their campaign back on track.

However, it's also fair to say that not all fans are satisfied with the progress Derby are making under Cocu and some have questioned whether the Dutchman is the right man to take the club forward.

A Derby supporter in the 'DCFC - ITS IN OUR DNA' Facebook group, claimed that the Rams should sack Cocu and bring in veteran manager Neil Warnock.

Warnock has won promotion eight times in his career and has been out of work since leaving Cardiff City earlier in the season.

The 71-year-old is coming towards the end of his career in management, but admitted recently that he's looking to manage one more club and that he'd like to take on another role this season.

The suggestion that Derby should sack Cocu and bring in Warnoock caused quite a reaction from supporters on Facebook, here is a look at some of the best responses...

Mike Brierley: "I am not a Cocu fan but Warnock I cannot stomach."

Jordan Dawson: "No thanks!!"

Andy Cutts-McKay: "Heaven forbid."

Carl Coulton: "Yeah cos hoofball football is all we need."

Carole Cooper: "NO WAY!!!"

Johnathan Roe: "As much as I hate Warnock, he is a successful manager in the Championship."

Diane Wootton: "I’d stop coming and I’ve been supporting Derby 40 years."

Dale Hitchcock: "That will take us one step forward, two steps back."

Steven Literski Toc: "10 years ago."
