With Leeds United flying high in the Championship this season, many Leeds fans have every reason to be optimistic about the rest of the season. 

But Blackburn have gone somewhat under the radar this season and Tony Mowbray's side are currently in 10th place, just a point adrift of the play-off places.

Rovers' good run of form has largely been down to the good form shown by Bradley Dack who has scored six goals already this campaign.

Whilst Leeds are a side who are considered to be amongst the favourites for the Championship title.

Marcelo Bielsa's side have dispatched of some teams in clinical fashion so far this season and Leeds fans will be confident that they can recover from their slight blip in recent form.

The shot-stopper has been in excellent form this season and with five clean sheets already this season, Raya has been a vital member of Mowbray's squad this season.

The former Wolves full-back was an excellent addition for Leeds in the summer and Douglas has already shown both his defensive and attacking instincts this season and will hope to recover from an injury as soon as possible.

Jansson has been a fans favourite at Leeds since he arrived at the club and that shows no signs of stopping anytime soon either.

Leeds fans will be hoping he will return soon, as Jansson and his wife are expecting their first child.

The Blackburn skipper has remarkably netted three times this season from defence and the 32-year-old has been one of Rovers' stand-out players this season.

The Blackburn full-back has been ever-present in the Blackburn team this season, featuring in all 12 matches for Mowbray's side this season.

Bennett's attack-minded style have seen him pop up with two assists this season for Rovers.

Saiz was crucial to the Leeds side that under-performed last season and he will be hoping he can rediscover that good form from last season in this years campaign.

Klich arrived in the summer of 2017 and was immediately sent out on loan to FC Utrecht, and it certainly has benefitted Klich.

The midfielder has assisted three times and scored on four occasions and is arguably Leeds' best player so far this season.

Alioski is another player that has stepped up this year, after a disappointing season last year.

With three goals and three assists this season, he will be the creative spark in the Leeds side this year.

Palmer is at Blackburn on loan from Chelsea and hasn't had the impact he would have hoped for.

With only one goal to his name he will hope to recapture the impressive form shown by the youngster whilst at Huddersfield earlier in his career.

Dack has been in excellent form this season, scoring six times from midfield and firing his side up to 10th in the table.

Blackburn face a fight to keep hold of Dack who is sure to attract interest from other club in January.

Roofe has been crucial to Bielsa's side this year and they missed his goalscoring touch during his time injured with Tyler Roberts struggling to replace the in-form man.
