‘No passion, desire or heart’ – Nottingham Forest fans react as their side slump to yet another defeat

Nottingham Forest were brushed aside by Wolves at the City Ground on Saturday in what was a limp performance from Philippe Montanier’s men.

Helder Costa opened the scoring for Wolves five minutes before half time when he fired in from an almost impossible angle, before Ivan Cavaleiro clinched the points for the visitors after 79 minutes with Forest chasing the game.

Forest could only muster two shots on target, which really isn’t good enough in a game that the hosts needed to win in front of their own fans.

It means that they have extended their winless run to three games, as they hold their position of 17th, but they are only six points above the drop zone, which is far too close for comfort given the way Montanier’s men are going at the minute.

The Forest fans left the City Ground disgruntled yesterday after seeing their team deliver a below par performance.

And, unsurprisingly,¬†Forest fans reacted with anger and disappointment on Twitter…
