Following on from his deadline day move to Sheffield United, Clayton Donaldson sent a message out to Birmingham City fans on Twitter to say goodbye.

The 33-year-old striker featured 23 times for Birmingham last season scoring six goals and providing one assist in the process.

Throughout the three years the Jamaican spent at Birmingham he became quite the fan favourite during a time in the club’s history that fans would rather forget.

The Blues had a busy summer transfer window which saw 15 new players join the club as Harry Redknapp looks to revolutionise the club.
