Reading fans could be forgiven for becoming frustrated with their club this season, with the Royals having recently appointed Mark Bowen as their second manager of the season after a disastrous start under the stewardship of Jose Gomes.

Results have started to pick up under the new boss, with the Berkshire based side having picked up four points from a possible six under the former Stoke City man, with a win over Preston North End and an important away point at QPR lifting spirits amongst the club's supporters.

One of the key changes that Bowen has made to his squad since coming in is reintroducing the likes of Chris Gunter and Garath McCleary to the first team fold after they were frozen out by Gomes.

The two players are known for being club stalwarts, with both having plied their trade at the Madejski for a good while longer than most of their teammates.

Given his reintroduction to proceedings, Reading fans were quick to respond to a question regarding whether McCleary should start against Millwall this weekend or not, in a post that received varying responses on social media.
