Plenty of Birmingham City supporters have taken to Facebook to react to the reports that the Blues are interested in signing midfielder Leonardo Morosini from Italian side Brescia.

According to the website TuttoMercatoWeb, Birmingham are keen on signing the 24-year-old, who is also wanted by another Italian club Ascoli.

Morosini has made seven appearances in Seire A in his career, including three so far this season. However, the attacking midfielder has featured over 100 times in the Italian second division Seire B.

Blues head coach Pep Clotet is hoping to use his relationship with Brescia president Massimo Cellino to try to sign the player.

Morosini started his career at Inter Milan and has played for various different clubs in Italy. He's also represented Italy at Under-20 and Under-21 level. However, if he were to move to Birmingham, it would be his first taste of English football.

Some Blues supporters in the 'Birmingham City Fan Zone' group on Facebook were quick to react to the transfer reports and give their thoughts. It's fair to say that not all of them were happy with the club being linked with another midfielder.
