Lee Bowyer has revealed that Albie Morgan may be sent out on loan to the National League to aid his development, according to London News Online.

The 20-year-old already spent time on loan in non-league during the first-half of the season at Ebbsfleet United, making a total of five appearances for the North Kent side before being recalled by Charlton amid their well documented injury crisis.

Morgan has impressed for the Addicks when he has featured, making a total of twelve Championship appearances for Charlton since his November return.

However, with key midfielders coming back from injury, as well as the January signings of Matt Smith and David Davis, Morgan may now find game-time hard to come by in the coming weeks, paving the way for a short-term move elsewhere.
