Bristol City have announced the signing of Adam Nagy from Bologna, much to the satisfaction of plenty of Robins fans.

The midfielder arrives for a reported £2.3m fee and could feature against Birmingham on Saturday, as Lee Johnson may opt for a more defensive approach in his midfield after conceding three against Leeds.

Nagy was in and out of the team in Serie A last season, but has made a total of 51 appearances in Italy's top-tier, so certainly has good experience and pedigree to boast of.

The Hungarian has signed a three-year deal with the option of a fourth, which means he should serve the club in the long-term, and if he is sold he should fetch a decent fee.

His arrival has generated optimism amongst the fanbase, but some supporters are still concerned with the club's failure to bring in a striker this summer, although Charlie Austin and Bobby Reid have been linked.

Here is some of the reaction from mostly excited Robins fans.
