Bristol City are having a successful season and are in the hunt for promotion as they sit in seventh place in the Championship.

The Robins have been one of the sides battling at the top end of the table for the majority of the campaign and are now just six points off second-placed Leeds United.

On Saturday, Lee Johnson's side did fall to defeat at Elland Road but have a chance to redeem themselves on the weekend when they take on top of the table West Bromwich Albion.

The play-offs are very much in sight for Johnson's squad but they have to consistently pick up points over the last 13 games of the season in order to be in with a chance of a top-six finish.

There have been a lot of standout performers throughout the campaign, including goalkeeper Daniel Bentley, defender Ashley Williams and forward Famara Diedhiou.

Many fans in the BRISTOL CITY BS3 Facebook group have been discussing who they thought the player of the season award should be handed out to.

Here are some of the replies...

Cameron Thorpe: Ashley Williams been a quality addition and Dave for his hard work, defending and attacking.

Stephen Rose: Diedhiou for me, the most improved player this season, wouldn't be anywhere near the top six without him in the team.

Dom Fast: Fammy, no contest!

Iain Timothy Gaskin: Bentley...Famara...Williams..they have been class.

Roger Clark: Bentley.

Kevin James Haskins: Bentley he saves us on many occasions.

Ken Hoare: It says "Player of the season". Diedhiou has been brilliant in the last 2 months only whereas Bentley has been brilliant all season. Williams not far behind. But we need them ALL to be brilliant on Saturday to win against WBA which I believe they will.
