Plenty of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to social media, to react to the reports that the club are interested in making Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder their new manager.

Wilder helped Sheffield United achieve automatic promotion from the Championship last season, just two years after helping the Blades win League One.

The Sheffield United boss will be looking to strengthen his squad in the transfer market this summer and build a team that can survive in the Premier League next season, but he is frustrated with his limited budget and political rows at the club behind the scenes, according to Sky Sports News report Rob Dorsett.

West Brom have been looking for a permanent manager since head coach Darren Moore was sacked in March, with the team nine points outside the automatic promotion places in the Championship.

Albion appointed first-team coach James Shan as caretaker boss until the end of the campaign, but he was unable to guide the team to promotion.

The news caused quite a reaction from West Brom fans on social media, with many of them replying stating that they do not think the move is likely to happen.
