West Brom currently sit in fourth place in the Championship table, just one point behind second-placed Sheffield United as they look to make an immediate return to the Premier League.

One player who will not be playing a part in the run-in, however, is striker Zhang Yuning, who is set to be sold next week after being recalled from his loan spell with ADO Den Haag.

Yuning was signed from Vitesse Arnhem back in the summer of 2017 for just under £7million but has never played for the Baggies, being sent out on loan for the past two campaigns to Werder Bremen, where he did not play a minute, and then to Den Haag.

The entire transfer fee paid by the Baggies two years ago was paid by the club's owner Guachon Lai and Yuning is now set to join an unnamed Chinese Super League club.

It is a signing that many fans never understood and here is how they reacted to this latest update...
