‘No brainer’, ‘Legend in the making’ – Many QPR fans react to report of potential agreement for key club figure

Many QPR supporters have been reacting to the latest reports from West London Sport that manager Mark Warburton could be set to sign a new deal with the club before the start of the campaign.

Warburton has managed to completely transform the outlook of QPR since the start of 2021, with him having guided the club to a strong second half to last term in the Championship.

The Rs struggled in the first half of last term and there were even reports that the former Rangers and Brentford boss could have departed the club.

However, after a very strong January transfer window, Warburton managed to get his side playing to their full potential and they ended up finishing last term in 9th place in the Championship.

So far this summer, QPR have managed to have a strong transfer window and they have already secured the arrivals of the likes of Jimmy Dunne, Jordan Archer, Sam Field, Charlie Austin, Andre Dozzell and Jordy de Wijs.

All of those players will enhance the quality of Warburton’s squad which is looking very strong at the moment and could see QPR be one of the top-six contenders.

It is believed by West London Sport that Warburton is currently on a one-year rolling contract at QPR and that the Rs now want to hand him an improved deal following the improvements he has made over the last few months.

Many QPR fans were delighted with this latest report and believe that Warburton would be fully deserving of a new deal with the club.
