Leeds United are one of several Championship clubs that are unhappy with the EFL after a new TV agreement was signed off despite their opposition to it.

It has been announced that a new five-year deal with Sky Sports has been completed for the broadcaster to have the EFL rights, worth £595m.

Whilst that's a 35% increase on the previous agreement, many of the Championship clubs, including Leeds, felt it didn't reflect their true value.

The Whites are regularly shown on TV due to the large viewing figures they attract, with supporters of the club frustrated at how often the team are shown at difficult times.

There is particular annoyance when you consider that the Premier League deal is significantly more, meaning that even though Leeds are shown more than many top-flight sides, they earn little in comparison.

It remains to be seen what happens in terms of the clubs challenging the EFL but it's fair to say the Yorkshire side aren't happy and neither are some of the fans.
