The Villans have been looking to add a winger to provide competition for the likes of Albert Adomah and Andre Green out wide and they have now turned their attention to Ojo.
The 21-year-old is down the pecking order at Liverpool and he will be allowed to leave on loan to gain valuable first-team experience.
The England youth international has previously played for Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham on loan and he may be farmed out for a fourth temporary stint in the Championship.
Aston Villa are looking at Ojo with other targets like Marc Albrighton and Robert Snodgrass looking unlikely.
Albrighton started for Leicester City yesterday and Snodgrass has made one bench appearance and one start for West Ham United since returning from his loan at Aston Villa last season.
Here is how the Aston Villa fanbase reacted to this latest link.
He'll be useful upfront..

Gerrin! That'll be LB sorted. Then Hutton can move across to CB to partner Jedinak and Chester can be a ball boy #iamstevebruce

Was on loan at Fulham last season and didn’t seem to offer much at all, was benched half way through the season, if we sign him I guess this means we missed out on Bolasie

Bruce should go for Luke Bolton or Marcus Maddison IMO. Ojo would be decent though
