Birmingham City will look to get back to winning ways after a short international break, with the small matter of a trip to Villa Park on the horizon.

After going two games without a win, Garry Monk's men will be looking to secure fifth win in seven league games - a result that could be the biggest victory of Blues' season thus far.

It's been a hectic season for the West Midlands side - they got off to a disappointing start having failed to find a win in their opening eight league games, but five wins in seven games rocketed Blues up to 12th in the league.

It's quite a remarkable turnaround that Monk has achieved, the club were plagued with Financial Fair Play problems at the start of the season and faced a potential points deduction.

Transfer business hasn't been their strongest point over the last few years, the likes of Greg Stewart arrived at St. Andrew's with high expectations, but currently finds himself out on loan at Kilmarnock - and goes down as one of Blues' biggest flops in the last few years.

Here, we take a look at three Birmingham players that are en-route to flop status at St Andrew's...

N'Doye was part of a summer overhaul under Harry Redknapp at the start of last season, after making over 65 appearances for French club Angers.

Since then however, the Senegalese midfielder has failed to make an impact in Birmingham, with a red card away at rivals Aston Villa in a 2-0 defeat the only thing he'll probably be recognised for.

With the club under pressure to reduce expenditure to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, he was allowed to return to Angers on loan for the season, and it's highly unlikely that he will feature for Blues again.

He may only be on loan, but Omar Bogle has found it incredibly tough since arriving at St Andrew's in the summer.

The 25-year old arrived on loan from Cardiff City in the summer, and the former Grimsby and Wigan forward was signed in the hope of spearheading their unlikely promotion push.

Since his arrival, he has failed to find the back of the net in ten games, and with the form of Lukas Jutkiewicz and Che Adams up front, it's incredibly unlikely that he will feature again.

The 22-year old's time at St Andrew's is one to forget.

Signed by Gianfranco Zola in January 2017, Keita arrived in Birmingham for an undisclosed fee after the Blues beat many high profile teams to his signature.

Since then, the Frenchman has made just 11 appearances for the West Midlands side, and after loan spells at Bologna and Eupen, it's highly unlikely that he will feature for Blues again.
