The Kassam Stadium will play host to the first Oxford/Swindon derby in three years

It will be the first Oxford/Swindon derby since 2012, which Oxford won 1-0 at the Kassam Stadium, whilst the Latics, appearing in the competition for the first time since 2002, will clash with Crewe for the second time already this season, following Wigan’s 1-0 victory last weekend.

Last year’s Southern Area finalists Gillingham host John Still’s Luton Town, while two-time winners Blackpool travel to Port Vale in the North West section.

The holders Bristol City were promoted to the Championship last season, so are unable to defend their title, while the beaten finalists Walsall were knocked out in the first round by Morecambe, whose reward is a trip to Bury.
