Newcastle United could make a move for Tom Heaton this summer, according to The Sun.
Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton is enjoying a fine season between the sticks for the Clarets as they look set to stay afloat in the Premier League.
Premier League new boys Newcastle United want to snap up the England international for their upcoming top flight campaign as part of a multi-million pound squad revamp by Rafa Benitez.
They will be rivalled by Crystal Palace in pursuit of the 31-year-old but Burnley boss Sean Dyche is keen to keep him at Turf Moor and has demanded £15m to prise him away.
Newcastle have also looked Jordan Pickford in a possible raid of rivals Sunderland as they search for a new goalkeeper.
This is despite having a number of stoppers on their books.
Tim Krul, Karl Darlow, Matz Sels, Rob Elliot and Freddie Woodman will all be competing for a starting spot for Newcastle next season.
