Bookmakers, Ladbrokes, have made Newcastle United the favourites to sign Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham on-loan next season.
Abraham has spent the current season in the Sky Bet Championship with Bristol City, where he has scored 22 league goals for Lee Johnson’s struggling side.
The 19-year old is expected to return to Stamford Bridge during the summer, but his short-term future is unclear, with a first-team opportunity at Chelsea remaining unlikely.
Antonio Conte may be against the idea of letting Abraham leave on a permanent basis, but another loan move could suit Chelsea, particularly if it involved a fellow Premier League side.
Newcastle, who look set for promotion back to the Premier League, are current favourites with Ladbrokes to sign Abraham, with odds as short as 3/1 for the striker to move to St James’ Park.
Rafa Benitez will be keen to add to his striking options ahead of next season, with the Magpies reliant on the goals of Dwight Gayle this term.
Benitez’s side need just five-points from their remaining three fixtures to secure an instant return to the Premier League.
