Newcastle United and Southampton are both keen on signing Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond, according to FLW sources.

The 20-year-old has been the subject of interest from an array of top-flight English clubs, ever since the Canaries were relegated to the Sky Bet Championship.

Both Newcastle and Southampton are eager to bolster their squad before the new campaign and are eyeing Redmond as a long-term addition to their squads.

The Canaries are keen to keep hold of one of their main assets as they look to bounce straight back into the Premier League at the first attempt following relegation last season.

Stoke City have already had a bid rejected for the England Under-21 star, as reported on Football League World earlier this month.
