According to The Chronicle, Newcastle United will offer promising young talent Sean Longstaff a long term deal.
Sean Longstaff has enjoyed a successful season of development.
The youthful attacking midfielder spent the first half of the season in Newcastle United’s under-23 set up, scoring six goals and contributing with a further three assists.
Newcastle then decided to ship Longstaff out on loan to Kilmarnock to challenge him in the Scottish Premiership.
The 19-year-old impressed at Rugby Park, scoring three goals for Killie.
Newcastle plan to hand their talented teenager a new professional deal and then send him out on loan again with a host of clubs interested.
Kilmarnock want to re-sign Sean Longstaff after his impressive displays on loan this season while Bury are one of a number of English clubs expressing an interest.
Bury manager Lee Clark signed Longstaff on loan during his time at Kilmarnock and he will be hoping that his Newcastle links can help land the starlet on a temporary stint for next season.
