According to a report by The Chronicle, Newcastle United might look to sell some of their first team players to fund a big summer of spending.
And the report goes on to suggest three first team members who might be put up for sale.
One of them is Serbian international striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The 22-year-old has blown hot and cold during his time at Newcastle and some erratic displays have cast question marks over his future.
With Dwight Gayle on their books and Rafa Benitez keen to add another two strikers, Mitrovic could be sold to make space in the squad.
Another player who could be up for sale is centre back Chancel Mbemba.
Newcastle have been linked with a new centre back and have made Ryan Shawcross a priority.
Karl Darlow could also be up for sale.
The goalkeeper started the season as second choice to Matz Sels and has ended it as second choice to Rob Elliot.
