Newcastle United have been helped by the news that Rafael Benitez has signed a new three-year contract at the club, and has pledged all he can to return the club to the Premier League this coming season.

A big money proven striker at this level would increase the chances of an instant return for the club.

It could be an interesting chance for the club to pair the impressive Adam Armstrong, who scored twenty goals at League One Coventry last season, with the Scotsman and have two strikers that will bring plenty of goals.

For Norwich City, they were the lowest scorers in the Premiership and will be desperate to find someone who can offer the fire-power to help their promotion chances.

They already have the impressive Nathan Redmond and in wide areas and his ability to take defenders on will allow someone, with Ross McCormack's ability to find space and have numerous chances at goal.

Fulham fans are already aware of how he can take chances, arguably keeping the club away from relegation last season.

Aston Villa fans are just desperate to have something to smile about after a terrible season.

Relegation will have been a huge disappointment and Ross McCormack may offer the first steps towards a recovery to the Premier League.

McCormack could just be the signing to get some positivity back at the club, and could be Chinese businessman Dr Tony Xia's first signing when his takeover is completed.

However, it will remain to be seen whether Fulham are willing to cash in on a big fee or do all they can to keep him at the club.
