After a busy summer, Norwich City's 2018/19 season is set to get underway against Birmingham City on Saturday.

Norwich, under the guidance of Daniel Farke, will make the trip up to Birmingham to take on Garry Monk's men at St Andrew's.

And the Canaries will travel to Birmingham without two key attacking players from last season, with James Maddison and Josh Murphy making big money moves to Leicester City and Cardiff City respectively.

Norwich have had a rebuild this summer as a result of these two departures with a host of new players coming in and hoping to make an impact at Carrow Road.

Farke will have spent pre-season running the rule over his squad options at Norwich as he mulls over his possible starting XI on the opening day.

Utilising a 4-1-4-1 formation, here is how we believe Norwich should line-up as they face Birmingham.

Norwich have just signed Dutchman Krul on a free transfer and his experience is likely to be enough to edge a starting place ahead of Remi Matthews.

The Canaries snapped up Passlack on loan from Borussia Dortmund and with Ivo Pinto an injury doubt, the German could head straight into the starting XI.

Hanley has vast experience at Championship level and will continue in his role at centre-half.

Klose and Hanley are a formidable partnership for Farke's team with the towering Swiss defender winning everything in the air.

With Jamal Lewis not completely fit yet, Husband could start at left-back or Farke could give a chance to untested youngster Max Aarons.

Sitting in between the midfield and defence is likely to be tough man Trybull.

Marshall showed at Millwall that he has an excellent delivery and he will look to provide service for the front men.

McLean was inspirational for Aberdeen and now is his chance to shine at Norwich.

Norwich fans will be delighted that attacking midfielder Leitner has returned.

Hernandez enjoyed a decent first season at Norwich but will be looking to kick on now.

With Jordan Rhodes not fully up to first-team fitness, Finland international Pukki could be starting instead.
