Sky Bet League One promotion hopefuls Sunderland will be looking to get pick up from where they left off after a comfortable 1-0 home win over AFC Wimbledon last week.

An Aiden McGeady strike was enough for the Black Cats to secure their first win in four league games, and will now be looking to ignite a winning run with a trip to Oxford United this weekend.

Jack Ross' men look to be favourites on paper with the North East club sitting three points off the automatic promotion places in 4th place, however it won't be too straight-forward with Karl Robinson's men on an unbeaten run of four games.

Here, we take a look at the team that Ross should be fielding ahead of the trip to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday afternoon...

Every Sunderland fan will be eager to see their £4million signing Will Grigg in action this weekend - after missing out on the clash with Wimbledon due to injury, the 27-year old is expected to be available this weekend, and he will be hoping to get on the scoresheet.

Lynden Gooch is also expected to be available for the trip to Kassam Stadium after missing out on the trip to AFC Wimbledon, however after the impressive debut of Lewis Morgan last week, it will be hard to see Ross drop the exciting wide-man.

Luke O'Nien also deserves a start for Sunderland after putting in yet another impressive performance off the bench last weekend. With four games in 10 days, squad rotation is key, and he deserves a chance to impress in replacement of Max Power, who probably deserves a rest. Grant Leadbitter should keep his place in the side, with Lee Cattermole out of action for this week.
