‘New owners haven’t learnt’ – Plenty of Sunderland fans react as search for Maja replacement hots up

Time is quickly running out for clubs to get their January shopping done before Thursday’s deadline with Sunderland scrambling to bring in some new faces.
The Black Cats have had four bids knocked back by Wigan for Will Grigg already and are now ready to move on to alternative options as they look to replace star man Josh Maja.
Maja made the move to Ligue 1 side Bordeaux earlier in the window and has now pinpointed Eaves and Marquis as his next targets according to Keith Downie of Sky Sports News.
27-year-old Eaves has netted 14 goals in 25 matches this season, a figure that is made all the more impressive given Gillingham are in the midst of a relegation scrap.
Doncaster Rovers’ frontman Marquis is currently the third-tiers’ top-scorer with 16 goals in League One and 20 in all competitions, helping Grant McCann’s side to the cusp of the play-off places.
But what do the fans make of the latest rumours?
Here is how they reacted…
We won't get either of them two. Especially this late in the window.
Grigg over the line or loans would be my guess.

Hope neither, just because they score doesn’t mean they fit. i.e. Wyke so far.
