Nottingham Forest endured a difficult 2017/18 campaign, with Aitor Karanka planning for a big summer ahead.

Despite plenty of optimism surrounding the club ahead of the season, Forest have drifted towards a mid-table finish, eventually ending up 17th in the Sky Bet Championship table.

Karanka has already proved to be ruthless in his one transfer window so far, which will be expected again this summer, as he looks to change Forest’s fortunes in the Championship.

According to Football Insider, a number of players are expected to depart in the coming summer, which in turn, will mean there are a host of fresh faces at the City Ground.

Despite the season only finishing last week, Forest have been linked with a host of names already this summer, as Karanka looks to remould his squad.

With that in mind, here is a look at THREE who could’ve arrived at Wilford Lane ahead of pre-season…

Dawson came close to joining Forest in the January transfer window and will be a target of Karanka’s in the summer.

The Hull City defender has been strongly linked with a return to the City Ground as Karanka looks to add some experience to his squad.

An experienced goalkeeper is needed at the City Ground, with Foderingham a long-term target of Forest.

Rangers pursuing other goalkeeping targets this summer could open the door for Foderingham to make a move early this summer.

Marriott is in-demand this summer, with Forest one club credited with an interest.

If Forest don’t mess around and get good money on the table, they could land the 23-year-old early in the window.
