‘New era at Cardiff City’ – The Internet reacts to Cardiff City appointing Neil Warnock

On Tuesday afternoon, Sky Bet Championship outfit Cardiff City sacked manager Paul Trollope after just five months in charge of the club.

He was sacked after just two victories from eleven games, which left them second to bottom in the table.

The Bluebirds didn’t take long to appoint a new man in charge. Neil Warnock was appointed as boss on Wednesday and his first game will be on Friday 14th October, after the international break, at home to Bristol City.

The 67-year-old saved Rotherham United from relegation last season. Picking up 24 points from a possible 48 to keep the Millers in the Championship.

In recent years, Warnock has managed Queens Park Rangers and Premier League side Crystal Palace. He got sacked at the latter in 2014 after the Eagles were sitting in the bottom three in the top-flight.

Here’s how Cardiff City supporters reacted on Twitter to the news of the appointment of Neil Warnock…..

Whilst some people found the news quite amusing, to say the least.
