Lyle Taylor has taken to Twitter to issue his response to the news that East Street Investments have a agreed to the purchase of Charlton Athletic from Roland Duchatelet.

The Addicks released a statement on Friday morning which confirmed the club's prospective sale to the investment group, with this bringing an end to Belgium businessman Duchatelet's five-year reign at the Addicks' helm.

Bowyer has performed magnificent work since taking over as manager in 2018, while Taylor has also been critical to the Addicks' success with his 30 goals in 51 appearances since his switch from AFC Wimbledon last year.

The 29-year-old has now taken to Twitter to share his response to the takeover news...
