Hull City have been quietly going about their business this summer, below the drama and panic engulfing those who hope to challenge for promotion this season.
Now managed by Grant McCann, the Tigers are entering a new era and with it plenty of new signings as they look to continue the progression seen under Nigel Adkins last season.
They completed their eighth signing of the summer on deadline day too when Everton defender Matthew Pennington made the switch to the Kcom on a season-long loan deal.

He follows Tom Eaves, Ryan Tafazolli, Leo Da Silva Lopes, Matt Ingram, George Honeyman and Sean McLoughlin in signing for the Tigers as McCann puts his stamp on proceedings.
Last season saw Pennington spend the campaign on loan with Ipswich Town as they were emphatically relegated from the second-tier, making 30 appearances in the process.
But despite this record, many Hull fans were still delighted to see him sign.
Although some were just hungry for more deals…
