Jordan Rhodes has been rewarded for an impressive month by being voted as the club’s Player of the Month for March.
The 31-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and will be looking to prove a point to Darren Moore between now and the end of the campaign.
If his form in front of goal this month is anything to go by, then the club will have quite a simple decision to make regarding his contract and potentially extending it beyond this season.
The ultimate Sheffield Wednesday shirt sponsor quiz: Can you get 18/18?
Rhodes has three goals in his last three games for Wednesday, scoring in a 2-1 home defeat to league leaders Norwich City a fortnight ago.
He then registered an assist in the 1-1 draw with Yorkshire rivals and fellow relegation strugglers Huddersfield Town a few days later, setting up Josh Windass for a first-half strike.
Rhodes’ best performance of the month undoubtedly came against Barnsley last time out, though, with Wednesday picking up their first win under Moore thanks to the striker’s brace at Oakwell.
As a result, he has been voted as the Player of the Month for March, and here’s how fans have reacted to his recognition…
Top Man, now carry the form and goals on for the rest of the season, #Believe

Easiest decision ever. Now, just keep him playing, keep supplying him, and he might just justify the money we’ve forked out by keeping us in this league.
