Barnsley have completed the signing of defender Callum Brittain from MK Dons, the Championship club have confirmed.

Having seen his contract with the League One club originally expire at the end of last season, Brittain only re-joined the Dons at the end of August, although his stay at the Stadium. MK did not last much longer.

The 22-year-old has now signed a three-year contract with the Tykes, which is set to keep him at Oakwell until the end of the 2022/23 season, after making the move to Yorkshire for an undisclosed fee.

A graduate of the Dons academy, Brittain made a total of 122 appearances in all competitions for the club's senior side, scoring on five ocassions.
