Ipswich Town have confirmed that Aaron Drinan has left the club to sign for League Two side Leyton Orient on a two-year deal.
Drinan signed for the Tractor Boys in January 2018, but struggled for consistent game time with the club’s first-team throughout his time at Portman Road.
In total, the forward made just six league starts last term, and scored once, as Ipswich finished ninth in the League One table, in what was a frustrating league campaign on the whole, as they missed out on a top-six finish.
What was the score the last time Ipswich Town played these 25 teams?
Paul Cook’s side are set to be preparing for their third consecutive season in the third tier of English football, and the Portman Road faithful will be eager to see their side make a serious push for promotion back into the Championship this season.
Plenty of Ipswich Town supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on Drinan’s permanent departure from Portman Road.
Take a look at the best of the reaction from Twitter below….
Always put in 100% effort which is more than most of the team, however he’s an atrocious footballer
