Reading beat Cardiff City in their FA Cup fourth round replay last night, securing a place in the next round of the competition via a penalty shoot-out.

The Royals came from behind twice during the evening, including grabbing an equaliser late in extra time to make it 3-3.

That meant that a penalty shoot-out would decide who went on to face Sheffield United in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Reading ran out 4-1 winners on penalties and Sone Aluko managed to net the decisive spot-kick.

Aluko has returned from a loan in the Chinese Super League in January and is now looking to forge a way back into Mark Bowen's plans.

He was bright after coming on at half time and played a crucial part in changing the game for the Royals.

It gives the Reading boss another option and opens up even more competition for places within the squad.

Here's how Reading supporters reacted to his performance on Tuesday night...
